Malondié and Vaseline Cera-Glow Bring Fashion and Skincare together at SS26 showcase

South African fashion and skincare found common ground at Pere House in Midrand this August, as designer label Malondié partnered with Vaseline Cera-Glow to unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

The event drew a mix of celebrities, media personalities and industry figures for what organisers described as an exploration of how healthy skin and considered style work together.

The collaboration centred on Vaseline Cera-Glow's Pro-Ceramide formulation, designed to support the skin's natural ceramide production and suited to a range of skin types and tones. Rather than a standard runway show, the event was built around the idea of skin as a finishing touch to any outfit an approach that dovetailed with Malondié's "Follow the Glow" theme for the season, drawing on the image of fireflies and the idea of an inner light guiding personal style.

Media personality Pamela Mtanga hosted the afternoon, which closed out Women's Month and marked the change of season with a collection built around renewal and self-expression. Every look on the runway paired Malondié's SS26 designs with skin prepared using the Cera-Glow range, and the label's "Glow Dolls"- Lerato Kgamanyane, Naliyani Uma, Bakang Mangoenyane and Robyn-Leigh Mentor walked in outfits curated by Malondié founder Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba.

The event's standout moment came with the reveal of its mystery model: actress Gugu Gumede, fresh off international attention for her role in Netflix's The Polygamist, who walked the runway to a strong reaction from the crowd.

Guests moved through Cera-Glow branded installations and skin-prep stations set up around the venue, with live sets from DJ Mbali Nkosi and Londie London running through the afternoon.

"The Malondié x Vaseline Cera-Glow Fashion Experience exceeded every expectation, proving that fashion and skin care are deeply linked," said Buthelezi-Ndaba. "Showcasing our SS26 collection alongside Vaseline Cera-Glow allowed us to usher in a new era for South African style one where confidence, elegance and healthy, glowing skin take centre stage."

Boipelo Mekgwe, Demand Creation Lead for Vaseline Cera-Glow, framed the partnership similarly: "Partnering with Malondié has perfectly illustrated our vision of skin as the foundation of every great look. As we step into Spring and conclude Women's Month, we celebrate the resilience, confidence and individuality of women who continue to step into their light."
