The Urban Playground the creative collective that's been running things at their Fourways spot has officially expanded to Rosebank Mall, and they brought a major announcement with them.

The new venue had its ribbon-cutting ceremony in July, with doors opening to the public on Saturday, 1 August. If you know The Urban Playground's whole vibe movement, play, creativity, community you already know Rosebank is about to become the spot for the city's creatives, entrepreneurs and anyone looking for a space to actually express themselves.

But here's the real headline: Robot Boii is officially on board as a strategic partner.

This isn't just a co-sign or a one-off collab, it's a long-term investment. Robot Boii isn't just showing up to entertain; he's stepping into a role shaping the venue's direction, brand and cultural programming going forward. Basically, he's helping build out what The Urban Playground becomes next.

Adriano Franco, the creator behind The Urban Playground, put it like this:

"It is a dream come true to open the Rosebank venue. The purpose is to create a first-of-its-kind space in the world, built by people within the community. Partnering with Robot Boii just makes sense, as he is a brand within the creative community that speaks to the youth and beyond.
