For sixteen years one question hung over British rock like low cloud over Manchester: would Liam and Noel Gallagher ever share a stage again? Oasis Live '25 answered it with a sold-out world tour, and the documentary that shadowed every rehearsal, corridor and encore has since become the year's highest-grossing documentary feature at the UK and Ireland box office. From 9 October it streams exclusively on Disney+ internationally, and on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States.

The Hulu Original, produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK, arrives with a 97% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience rating of 98%. It is that rare music film on which brothers, fans and critics have managed to agree.

Streaming brings more than the theatrical cut. Disney+ will host never-before-seen material, including further footage from the joint Gallagher interview, their first together in over twenty years, and full performances of "Wonderwall" and "Slide Away". Two more songs, "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "Half The World Away", appear for the first time anywhere and remain exclusive to the platform.

"The great wait is over," said Angela Jain, Head of Content for Disney+ EMEA, describing the reunion as one of the defining cultural moments of recent years and the film's arrival, unseen footage included, as a gift to fans who have watched the story resonate around the world.

The credits read like an awards shortlist. Steven Knight, the mind behind "Peaky Blinders", wrote and created the film; Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace direct. Haris Zambarloukos, whose lens shaped "Belfast", handles cinematography, while Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather ("Top Gun: Maverick") and Tarn Willers ("The Zone of Interest") ensure the wall of guitars lands with proper weight. Producers Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley lead a team that treats a rock reunion with the seriousness of drama.

What emerges is neither hagiography nor exposé but something its makers call unapologetically uplifting: an account of the biggest musical event of 2025 told from rehearsal room, backstage and stage, and from the crowds who crossed continents to be there. The film is as interested in what these songs mean to three generations of listeners as in the two men who wrote and sang them.
