Makubenjalo, Martell and OMODA are joining forces for what promises to be the most elevated marquee experience at Greyville Racecourse yet.

The Hollywoodbets Durban July is many things horse race, fashion moment, social institution. But for a growing number of guests, the real draw is what happens in the marquees. Makubenjalo's Njalo's experience has become one of the most talked-about luxury destinations on race day, and for 2026, it's returning with higher ambitions and two powerhouse partners in Martell and OMODA.

This year's theme, Country Allure, draws on the elegance of the countryside filtered through a contemporary South African lens think heritage and craftsmanship meeting modern luxury, without losing the warmth or the culture. OMODA brings the bold design energy. Martell with over 300 years of cognac-making behind it brings the gravitas. And Makubenjalo brings the party.

The journey kicks off before race day with an exclusive launch dinner on Friday 26 June, gathering tastemakers, media personalities and creatives for a seated evening of curated dining, premium hospitality and live entertainment. Consider it a first chapter the marquee experience itself on Saturday 4 July at Greyville Racecourse is the full story.

The Njalo's package includes VIP parking, three-course gourmet catering, GH Mumm welcome drinks, a complimentary bar tab until 4PM, live entertainment, a private cigar bar and automatic entry to the afterparty. The full package, then.
