The programme includes the 2026 St David’s ATBMI T10 Cricket Festival, the Inanda Cup Prep Stayers and U14 Water Polo Tournaments, and Inanda Hoops. First matches began on Thursday, 22 October, and play runs through to Sunday, 25 October.

Young cricketers on the big field. The T10 Cricket Festival welcomes Grade 6 players, alongside selected Grade 5 players, to a fast-paced format. All matches are played on the College’s main fields, giving young players quality grass pitches and larger playing surfaces than they usually meet at prep level. Among the teams is the Temba Bavuma XI Tigers, named for the school’s alumnus and Proteas captain, linking today’s players to one of South African cricket’s leading figures. ATBMI is the title sponsor.

Water polo under pressure. The Inanda Cup brings together teams in the Prep Stayers and U14 sections. U14 competition includes eligible school teams alongside participating club and invitational sides. Round-robin matches are followed by crossover play-offs to decide final positions. Games follow World Aquatics rules as adopted by Schools Water Polo South Africa, and drawn matches go to a penalty shoot-out. The format tests tactical awareness, defensive organisation, goal-scoring and composure.

Hoops with a champion’s backing. Inanda Hoops completes the programme. Reigning Basketball National League champions Soweto Panthers are making a special appearance to inspire the next generation of players.
Across all three codes, organisers say the emphasis is on competitive friendship, player development and the discipline, teamwork and respect that sport teaches.
Following the action. Spectators, players, coaches and supporters can follow fixtures, updates and match details on the Festival app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. When prompted, use the access code: Summer.
