When Time Out ranked Durban as the 14th Best Place to Travel in 2026, the rest of the world seemed surprised, but the Durbanites just smiled warmly. We’ve always known that 031 has been a vibrant hub of culture and community, full of life and character. engine of the country, and the Dubane Summer Break at uShaka on April 26th is living proof.

Hosted by the legendary duo DreamTeam (Saso and Trey), this event isn't just a concert; it’s a homecoming. It represents a city that has successfully blended its gritty, creative underground with a world-class tourism infrastructure.

Get ready for modern Mzansi sounds from headliners Young Stunna and Blxckie, who will energise the streets with dynamic performances set against the uShaka Marine World backdrop. They will be backed by prominent artists like Dladla Mshunqisi and DJ Sox. The festival reflects the city's vibrant diversity: bold, rhythmic, and proudly local.

Beyond the music, there’s a deeper "why." The event is a major economic boost, creating production roles for local youth and cementing Durban’s status as a global lifestyle hub. It’s a day for families, students, and workers to come together and celebrate the fact that the world is finally watching.

Date: Sunday, 26 April 2026 (9 AM – 5 PM).
