Unfinished Business: Married at First Sight Mzansi Reunites

Lerato Mvelase hosts a two-part reunion on Mzansi Magic.

Thirteen weeks of weddings, honeymoons and hard choices have ended. The conversations have not. The Season 3 reunion of Married at First Sight Mzansi began on Sunday, 4 October, with the second part on Sunday, 11 October, both at 18:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161), with Lerato Mvelase hosting from the hot seat.

The finale (spoilers follow) saw only one couple leave the final recommitment ceremony together. Prince recommitted to Esethu with a second proposal on bended knee, and she said yes. Hlulani and Nompumelelo chose not to recommit, citing trust, honesty and emotional connection. For Lesiba and Matshediso, the night turned: Lesiba was ready, but Matshediso walked away, saying their connection had changed once they left the shared apartments. Obren and Laurinda had already ended their marriage earlier in the season.

Months after filming wrapped, the couples face each other again to revisit unresolved tensions and report on life after the experiment. Experts Thabang Mashigo, Pastor Xolani Hlitana, Dr Mpume Zenda and Bakhe Dlamini join the conversation one final time.

There is more to come. From Friday, 30 October at 20:00, Married at First Sight Uncut will present unseen footage and behind-the-scenes moments. Viewers can follow along with #MarriedAtFirstSightMzansi.
