R&B Royalty Tamia Returns to Mzansi

The six-time GRAMMY-nominated songstress Tamia didn’t just announce a tour

Likers of Things

The six-time GRAMMY-nominated songstress Tamia didn’t just announce a tour; she’s delivering a full-blown spiritual experience in South Africa this August, headlining what’s already being called the most significant Women’s Month celebration the country has ever seen. If you know Tamia’s catalogue the way you should, you already understand what’s at stake here.

From timeless slow jams to soul-stirring ballads, her music has had us in a chokehold for years, from our teenage years to adulthood, as we cleaned our grandmother’s red stoep. Listening to “So into You,” “Officially Missing You,” and “Stranger in My House,” we'd better get ready to sing our hearts out, as we will be serenaded by royalty during this tour.

Tour dates :

Cape Town - 6 August 2026 | Grand Arena, GrandWest

Durban - 7 August 2026 | Durban ICC

Pretoria - 10 August 2026 | SunBet Arena, Times Square

Strip away the logistics and zoom out for a moment, because this tour is bigger than dates and venues. Tamia performing on South African soil during Women’s Month is a statement to a room full of people who’ve carried these songs through heartbreak, healing, and every complicated emotion love hands you. There’s a communal power in that you simply cannot manufacture.

“South Africa has always shown me so much love,” Tamia shared. “Performing during Women’s Month makes it even more special.”

Clear your calendar, prepare your vocal cords and be ready yo  to feel things publicly with zero apology.

Tickets are live now via Webtickets and Pick n Pay, and if the demand matches the energy (it will), this is a now-or-never situation.

There's a particular kind of confidence that only comes from having done the work. Not the loud, performative kind, but the quiet, grounded assurance of someone who looked at a dream, built it with their hands, and now stands inside it.

If a party leaves you with nothing but a sore head and a handful of blurry photos, it wasn't much of a night. Jägermeister's Haus of Kühl has always understood this,, and this year's edition arrives with even greater intention.

The pursuit of a music career carries a particular cost that rarely gets acknowledged in the songs themselves: the strain it places on the people closest to you.
