Ndlala Grandeur II Expands to a Three-Night R&B Celebration in Pretoria
What began as a two-night event has grown into something bigger. Ndlala Arena has officially expanded Ndlala Grandeur II into a three-night R&B celebration running from 21–23 August, with two major new additions to the bill Grammy-nominated stars Case and Tyrese.

It's a lineup built around genuine staying power. Rather than a single headline act supported by lesser-known names, each night features artists whose music has defined the genre across different eras, alongside some of South Africa's own most respected voices in soul and R&B.
Here's a look at how the weekend unfolds.
Friday, 21 August opens the weekend on a smooth note, headlined by RL of the multi-platinum group NEXT, joined by Grammy Award-winning vocalist Mýa and South African Afro-soul icon Zonke Dikana.
Saturday, 22 August leans into nostalgia, with Ginuwine bringing his catalogue of early-2000s classics, two-time Grammy nominee Case joining the bill for the first time, and South African soul favourite Vusi Nova rounding out the evening.
Sunday, 23 August closes the weekend with a solo headline set from Tyrese Gibson a fitting way to bring the three-day celebration to an end.
For fans of the genre, this is a rare opportunity to see three distinct eras of R&B represented across one weekend, in one venue.
