Dove Masterclass Champions The Future of Content Creation

Dove Masterclass Champions The Future of Content Creation

The creator economy is changing. As trust becomes the most valuable currency in creator marketing, audiences are looking for creators they can trust.

Authenticity, credibility and meaningful storytelling have become the new currency of influence, prompting brands are rethink how they engage with the voices shaping culture online.

Leading that conversation, Dove welcomed creators, media and industry leaders to the Dove Masterclass at Langhams Lifestyle Estate in Johannesburg, an inspiring day of meaningful conversations around creator culture and skincare, that also introduced the Dove Creator Collective partners who are part of a programme designed as an immersive experience to empower creators through education, shared values and authentic partnerships.

Hosted by Hulisani Ravele, the experience opened with a moving spoken-word performance by Botlhale Boikanyo, who celebrated skin as a living story, one that carries our essence, our history and our identity - Skin That Doves.

The Masterclass was designed to give creators more than inspiration, it offered practical insights, meaningful conversations and direct access to the people shaping both the creator landscape and the Dove brand.

Industry leaders from across the creator, media and marketing sectors unpacked the realities of building a sustainable career in today's digital world, sharing perspectives on cultivating engaged communities, navigating authentic brand partnerships and creating content that delivers lasting impact beyond the algorithm. The sessions challenged attendees to think beyond reach and engagement, placing purpose, credibility and trust at the heart of modern influence.

Beyond creator culture, Dove invited attendees into the science behind one of the world's most trusted skincare brands. Through an exclusive live product demonstration, "Glow Up with Dove: Achieving Radiant Skin," Dove's Research & Development experts showcased the innovation behind the brand's skincare formulations. Guests experienced the benefits of Dove's Beauty Bar, powered by its signature Pro-Ceramide Serum, alongside the Dove Body Wash with its 24-hour Renewing MicroMoisture technology, demonstrating how Dove combines cutting-edge skincare science with superior care for healthy, radiant skin.

"People are looking for content they can trust," says Nivida Ramsundar, Content Lead for Dove South Africa. "As a brand, we have a responsibility to equip the creators we partner with to tell stories that are informed, authentic and meaningful. When creators understand the science behind our products and the purpose behind our innovations, they're able to create content that resonates in a much deeper way. That's what the Dove Masterclass was all about."

As the creator landscape continues to evolve, Dove remains committed to shaping its future by championing creators who value authenticity, knowledge and genuine human connection, while continuing to lead through skincare innovation and expertise.

Because the most meaningful stories don't begin with a brief.

They begin with understanding.

Some wins are personal. This one is regional. When Kelebogile Marope was named the recipient of the 2026 FNB Art Prize, she became the first artist from Botswana ever to receive the honour — a milestone for her own career and, quietly, for the whole of Botswana's contemporary art scene.

There's something quietly radical about refusing to choose. In a world that constantly demands we pick sides, declare preferences, commit to one thing over another, Hendrick's Gin has arrived with a different proposition entirely: why not both?

Design, at its best, is never just about objects. It's about how we choose to live the spaces we build around ourselves, the materials we choose to touch every day, the way a room can shift the quality of a Tuesday morning.
