Words are sweet, but they never take the place of food. ~Ibo Proverb
Inspiration is all around us at any given moment. Inspiration in the kitchen can be inspired by ingredients, colours, culture or even a specific region. Rich in all its resources, beauty in abundance and a cultural feast of knowledge is our beloved Africa. Africa, in each of its corners and luscious land, can be found an ingredient, flavour, scent or traditional method of dishes we can devour and interpret to different palates.
African food ranges from textures, tastes, style and location. With no short of creative inspiration from the continent, Parc Ferme has launched a new menu diving into culinary African experiences and uniqueness with a twist of Mauritian flair.
For as long as we have walked the buzzing metropolitan Maude street in Sandton, the gleam of Parc Ferme can be witnessed. Parc Fermé offers a chic yet traditional way of experiencing exquisite cuisine prepared by Mauritian Executive Chef Atmaram Mahadea. With its contrasting grey, black and white décor and its mixture of exotic fabrics and textiles, it’s sure to catch your eye.
This festive season, Parc Ferme is adding indigenous flair to your taste buds with a new menu, Jeune Afrique, meaning ‘Young African’ in French. The Jeune Afrique Menu gives a hint of old favourites and loved dishes with eight dishes from six different African countries to journey through the holidays. The dishes boast with flavours, spices with alternative remakes of traditional dishes you love. View Full Menu
